Visit the Light
Private Events & Fundraisers
The Lighthouse is available for private tours and events - both large and small - the proceeds of which fund the restoration and ongoing preservation of the Lighthouse. The majority of event revenues can qualify as tax-deductible donations to the Greens Ledge Light Preservation Society.
Small Private & Family Events
The Lighthouse is a spectacular venue for a sunset cocktail party with friends and family, a magical couples date night, an unforgettable wedding reception, an extravagant birthday party, or simply a fulfilling private family tour with one of our knowledgeable Keepers.
Private Group & Fundraising Events
Host an incredible event at the Lighthouse with your extended family, club/organization, or celebrate a special occasion at a one-of-a-kind venue. Pricing includes venue and assistance from Greens Ledge Keeper staff during the event (for tours and transportation coordination). Event host is responsible for food, catering, and group charter transportation - our team is happy to help coordinate.

Charitable & Nonprofit Events
Revenues raised through these private events help to fund our annual preservation budget and nonprofit operating expenses, while also enabling us to offer a limited number of discounted or complimentary events to other qualified nonprofit organizations, including schools and nonprofit groups with aligned missions. In recent years, we’ve proudly supported a number of local organizations, including Maritime Aquarium and Open Door Shelter.
Throughout the year, we receive a great number of requests for discounted or complimentary events. As a non-profit, all-volunteer organization, there are limitations in our ability to support all requests. For consideration, please fill out the form below, providing details on the proposed event, the mission of your organization, and the potential benefits of the event to Greens Ledge Light Preservation Society - including reciprocal sponsorships/grants, donations of goods/services, or other partnership opportunities such as joint fundraising events.
Applications are reviewed quarterly by our committee and we’ll let you know via email if the request is approved or if more information is required.
